Loot
Obsession awards all loot via loot council. We distribute loot
based on many factors, including raid attendance, performance, and
previous loot received. We will always distribute loot based on the
progression of the raid.
Who we are
Obsession was formed by experienced raiders that span back to
vanilla. Some retired, returning for Warlords of Draenor, and some
who have been floating between US top tier raiding guilds for all
these years. We are a strong core of raiders who have raided
cutting edge progression, sometime between Burning Crusade and
Mists of Pandaria, who are ready for the Mythic challenge to come.
We are looking to build on that talent by adding more like-minded
raiders to our roster, surrounding ourselves with a strong pool of
casual members, and growing our community.
Our Goals
-To raid and clear all current content effective and efficiently in
a minimum amount of time, while still holding ourselves accountable
to perform at our best, but still having a fun filled, low stress,
casual environment.
-Build a strong community around our raid team with our casual
members. We want to have an engaged community, whether it be Raids
of all difficulty's, alt runs with casual's, dungeon groups,
scenarios or player vs player, we want all our members from any
rank to be there to help others and grow friendships that will last
a lifetime both inside the pixel world and out.
What you will need to be, and what we expect from
you
-Be at the top of your game, when we start pulling bosses it's go
time. We expect your best. We will have limited raid times as we
are only raiding 3 days a week for a total of 9 hours max.
-Have a strong understanding of your class. No one here will
babysit you. Spit balling concepts with others of the same class is
awesome. We encourage it. However basic/advanced rotations and
knowing what you should be doing we assume when you join you
already have a solid understanding.
-Represent this guild with pride. Always treat your guild members
and community with respect. You represent all of us. Trolls are not
welcome.
-Be prepared. We will provide flasks, pots and food. Know the
fights. If you don't know the fights, go learn them. You are
expected to have general knowledge of encounters on normal and
heroic.
-Be social, engage with others in mumble and most importantly on
our forums. Communication is key to the success of this guild.
Attitude/Etiquette
The most important part of your trial. Stay positive, if you have
issues talk to the officer team. As important as your performance
is, so is your fit with this guild. We have a ZERO tolerance policy
for drama, whiners and over all bad attitudes. We are a mature
guild and play this game to have fun. No stress. Not accepting
elitist. We want humble, talented players. Commonly referred to as
"Unicorns"
Racial remarkes are unacceptable. Treating your fellow guildies and
community members with respect is non negotiable.
