Philosophy
<Shots Fired> is a serious, hard mode progression raiding
guild. Performance is extremely important - as is not being an
asshat. Any trial member that outperforms a veteran will be
replacing them. All decisions made by the leadership are to
drive progression. This includes, but is not limited to, raid
composition, loot distribution, fight assignment, etc. We pride
ourselves in having a calm and relaxed raiding environment, and
having people who are focused on killing bosses and not on killing
each other.
Why you should consider <Shots Fired>
We are committed to having a fun, calm, relaxed environment where
bosses die. It's very important for us to succeed, but not at the
cost of making the entire raid hate each other doing so. We're
adults and expect you to be the same - we respect your time. That
means we ask you to post out if you're going to be out, and should
the unforeseen happen, we'll let you know as well for the evening
and make steps to fix it.
We do not extend lockouts without cause. We are aware how
much it sucks to do a leaderless death-march without a moment to
farm, or have fun, or just to raid for more than thirty seconds a
pull. Yes, progression is VERY important, but again, not at the
cost of not enjoying the game and our raid.
Immediate openings for quality caster dps (boomkin or ele shaman,
would prefer ele). Do not waste our or your time if you're a
recently boosted character with no relevant raiding experience, who
has killed bosses in SoO once (including normal), or who is too
dumb to have maximized your own gear with crafted gear/PVP stuff,
etc. Thanks.
We'd like to note again, people are important. Did your guild have
the same people on the week after they killed Garrosh on 25H? A
month later? We did. And we still like each other.
Leadership
<Shots Fired> is led by:
GM/Raid Lead Fnfal (fnfal#1468)
Officer Bluebelle
Officer Zendee
Officer Boston
Raid Schedule
The current raid schedule is Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from
20:30 to 0:30 EST. Invites start at 20:15 and all raiding members
are expected to be online and ready to go at that time.
Loot Distribution
Loot in <Shots Fired> is distributed by loot council. Our
goal is to get the loot that drops to where it will benefit the
raid as a whole the most. At times, that will mean getting as many
people upgrades as possible. Other times, it may require stacking
loot on a subset of the raid to meet encounter requirements. Loot
is just a means to achieve the end goal of downing bosses. Feedback
is always welcome on everything, including loot, after raid.
