Purpose
Our goal is to progress quickly, while maintaining the friendships
we have made playing this game together.
Enviroment
Ascendants is filled with hardened and somewhat brazen people. Most
of it, if not all of it, is said jokingly which, makes progressing
and playing this game together enjoyable. That said however, if you
are offended in any way, this is most likely not the guild for you.
While we do see ourselves as a family, we pick on each other,
sometimes harshly. This critique of each other, and the desire to
progress at a reasonable pace, proves to make raid enjoyable.
Attitude
We expect nothing but a positive and willing mindset, period. We do
not accept whiners, complainers, excuse makers, loot whores, or
anything that falls around those terms. It is expected that you
constantly try to improve.
Raid Schedule
We raid Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday 8:00pm – 11:00pm EST. Raid may
extend to 11:15pm EST if we feel that a boss can be killed with a
few attempts. But this is a very rare occasion. We need people that
can commit almost 100% of our raids. We respect that life comes
before raiding, but if you cannot plan accordingly, then we cannot
plan to have you in guild. Attend the raids, or do not bother
applying.
Loot
Loot is distributed through a council, consisting of officers.
There is no sense of favoritism, loot is handed out based on one
thing, and one thing only – progression.
Recruiting
While we do not over recruit, we are always on the lookout for
better raiders. If you can beat our raiders, and can prove it, do
not hesitate to throw in an application. Surrounding yourself with
better raiders, only strengthens the guild.
Experience
If you are coming to the game after an extremely long break, just
starting to play the game, or only experienced 5 man content so
far, this most likely isn’t the guild for you. While we do not
expect everyone to have played since closed beta, we do expect that
you know enough about your class and the game at a whole to be
worthy of a spot.
