About the guild:
The guild was created during the early stages of Cataclysm
expansion in 2011
- Transferred from Alonsus and now Residing on EU Tarren Mill
(Horde).
We're a friendly group of mature players, mainly focused on
raiding, pvp and other social activities. A place, where people
know who you are, and that you can call home, but with enough
members to do anything. Knowledgeable aswell as new players willing
to help out.
We have a rank and guild bank system that rewards those dedicated
to bettering the guild and themselves.
Here in Zanity we strive to create a comfortable atmosphere where
people can relax and enjoy their time.
The players of Zanity:
Whilst we all take raiding seriously, we are able to have plenty of
fun doing so. With plenty of self deprecating humour and banter
amongst players. Outside of raiding you will find many guild
members, playing other games together, sharing stories and general
socializing. Teamspeak
Expectations:
We realize how daunting joining a new guild can be. To make it
easier for you to make that leap, we will let you know what we
expect from raiders in Zanity.
1. Attitude!:
We want players who are able to take criticism constructively, work
together regardless of personal feelings and work towards the
betterment of the TEAM, not their ilvl (lootw***** jog on). Be able
to own your mistakes and not make excuses.
2. Attendance:
Raiding times are(GMT+1/ST)
Progression Team 1: Mon, Tue, Thurs, Sun (+ added Wednesdays to
push progression) (20:00-24:00)
Content Cleared Team 1: Mon, Thurs, Sun (20:00-24:00)
Progression Team 2: Tue, Wed, Sun (+ added Thursdays to push
progression) (20:00-23:00)
Content Cleared Team 2: Mon, Thurs, Sun (20:00-23:00)
invites will start at 19:45(T1+T2) . You must be able to make these
times on a consistent basis. Absence without notification will not
be tolerated.
Raid days for Team 1 will vary depending on if content is cleared
or not. During heavy progression period you need to make sure you
have the time needed.
When content is cleared we revert back to a more casual schedule
and bring in an alt day. This depending on if we managed to do a
full clear or not.
3. Class Knowledge:
Even if you are the nicest person in the world with perfect
attendance you will still be expected to perform at a consistently
high level with your chosen class. Know it from head to toe.
4. Preparation:
When you come to raid, you will be prepared to raid. This means
bringing enough consumables for the entire night and being fully
repaired before raid begins. Researching new bosses is also a
requirement; know the best spec/talents/glyphs to use on any given
fight.
5. Final notes
We consider all exceptional applications.
Even though YOUR class/spec is currently in the roster does not
mean you don't stand a chance of getting a trial or even becoming a
permanent member.
Everything will be dependent on your own performance aswell as
personality and what you bring to the raiding team.
Basically if you think you can outperform someone then we'd like to
see you try.
If you think you are someone who fits the above criteria and wants
to raid in a serious raiding environment, then we would love to see
an application from you.
