About Us
Founded shortly after the release of Mists of Pandaria, Halo has
grown into a succesful, dedicated and diverse guild with a core of
exceptional raiders whose goal has always been to complete all
end-game content at maximum difficulty whilst maintaining a fun,
engaging and creative community.
Halo is very unique in that we try to maintain a balance between
progressive raiding, social entertaining and time. We are a guild
that understands people have jobs and real life to attend, and as
such look for people who can raid at a very high level, but only
wish to raid 3 days per week.
Recruitment Status
Visit our website to see what classes for an updated view of our
recruitment status. However, we will always consider exceptional
applications.
Raid Schedule:
We raid on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday from 8:30 until 11:30 pm
and expect raiders to have near 100% attendance in order to make
the limited amount of time we raid each week as efficient and
effective as possible.
Things we expect from you:
> Be an exceptional player regardless of class, able to
understand fights quickly, avoid any kind of raid damage easily,
give feedback on boss tactics and quickly gather information
required to maximize your own and the raids performance during
progression.
> Wiping on new content is your first love. We are focused on
progressing the guild, not your characters love of epic loot.
> Tolerance for any kind of trolling, or banter during trash or
outside of raids. Apart from progression, we enjoy talking and
socialising to keep the game fun.
> Be punctual in showing up for raids. I can't stress this
enough, we only raid 3 times per week, so activity is extremely
important to us.
> Be mature both in age and attitude. Although we can all be a
little crazy at times, we know when to draw the line and get
serious.
> Able to make time when new content goes live. It's the nature
of WoW that new raids and expansions will come out, and we expect
members to make time to level up and gear up accordingly.
> Able to thrive on criticism, as harsh as at may be at times it
will always be constructive.
> Be able to prepare yourself before each raid. If you do not
understand the value in being prepared, then do not apply.
> Highly motivated to play WoW and do well, if you plan on
quitting in the near future do not bother applying.
> Rock solid connection and computer, it won't matter even if
you are a world class player, being offline has no value.
> Be able to communicate effectively. There will be times when
communicating helps, but knowing when and how to do so without
disrupting raiding is important.
