of healers, DPS and dedicated raiders.
About us:
Archetype has just celebrated its 6th birthday and we're so proud!
More than anything else we've accomplished, we're proud of our
social atmosphere. While WoW PvE is our primary focus, we have many
members who simply enjoy hanging out in guild chat, on vent, or on
the boards. We have a group of pvp'ers, and several people who play
Starcraft 2, League of Legends, Neverwinter Online, Rift, and the
list goes on.
Prior to the recent server merge announcement we started running a
couple 10 mans a week to keep the momentum going, but we're a 25
man guild at heart. We now need several people to take over our
retired members' raid spots so that we can get back to 25 mans.

What you can expect from Archetype:
Archetype has a history of running stable, drama-free raids that
progress at a steady pace. We use EPGP with a 10% weekly decay to
distribute loot, and it has proven to be the most drama-free method
for us. Should you be invited to our guild and invited to raid,
this addon will be required.
We've had many hiccups in our 6 years but we always persevere.
We're not going to be disbanding anytime soon! If you are accepted
and fit in well with us, you can expect to have a home here for a
long time.
We consider ourselves to be a "mature" guild. Most of our raiders
are over 18 years old, and the majority are between the ages of
25-50. We do have a few people under 18, however they were invited
due to their exceptional maturity only. If you feel you can
contribute to our mature community, please don't hesitate to
apply.
We also offer constructive criticism based on empirical data such
as meters and logs, as well as feedback from other members,
generally Veteran members who are very familiar with the class. We
are looking for people who can handle and give out constructive
criticism with maturity and respect.
Help is offered to any who join! If you're new to WoW or to your
class, we have many people in the guild who have played their class
for years and would love to help.
What Archetype expects from you:
We have raiders from four different time zones so we have a
relatively short raid week (~8.5 hours/week maximum.) As such, we
expect you to show up on time and prepared to raid.
Prepared means you should be repaired with the necessary
consumables, and have at least a basic idea of the fights ahead of
you.
You should also be properly geared, gemmed, and enchanted for your
role/class. If you require some help with this there are many
members who will happily provide some assistance.
We always take a break mid-raid so we expect not to be held up too
much by extended, frequent, or unannounced afk's. We expect you to
remain calm and have fun during progression, which is not always
easy. We expect attendance that will allow us to raid with a roster
of ~30 regular raiders (no repeated conflicts with our raiding
schedule.) We expect at least a basic ability to self analyze and
constantly improve - no egos, please.
Most importantly, we expect you to show our raiders and raid
leaders the same respect that is shown to you.

as detailed as possible. Tell us about yourself, both in and
outside of the game. We want to get to know you, not just your
character!
If applying for a social spot and are not looking to raid, please

If you are applying to raid, please include anything that will help
us determine what kind of raider you are - logs, fraps, screenshots
of your raiding UI, etc. Be prepared to answer character and raid
related questions in your app thread before we invite you to our
guild.
It is important that you keep an eye on your application on the
