Rising is a fun 10 man raiding guild looking for some more members
to balance our raids out and to ensure that we can fill our
raids.
Good understanding of your class like knowing what
rotation/gear/gems you need to use.
Being prepared for raids with flasks and potions.
Dedication,for us one of the most important things we hope to find
in our fellow raiders meaning, active attendance to raids and no
complaining with wipes.
Recruitment
Rising have been in existence since the beginning of TBC, offering
a raiding place for those who struggle to make the typical 100%
attendance requirements that a lot of other guilds require. For 6
years we've stuck to that mantra, and have a core of dedicated
members as a result. It has always been a challenge however, as
over-recruiting implies rotation, which isn't compatible with
periodic availability.
Still, we've managed. However, whether it's indicative of the game,
or of the fact our core members are that bit older, over the past
couple of months we've lost a few players - hopefully temporarily -
and struggled to field a raiding team as a result.
Hence the reason for this post. 5.4 brings with it a new raid
difficulty - Flex - that provides friends & family-orientated
guilds with the ability to recruit to a healthy number, without
needing to bench anyone. To a guild with the core beliefs of
Rising, that is extremely attractive. Therefore, we are looking to
recruit all classes, and we'll continue to do so until our raiding
pool numbers feel healthy.
Flex isn't our only goal - our members do expect the ability to
raid at a level they are used to, so Normal raids will continue.
There will not be a clash however, which ensures both difficulties
will be given our full focus.
