Expectations:
80%+ attendance record: we understand that life is more
important and sometimes gets in the way, but we run a very lean
roster and need everyone to show up in order to be able to progress
on our limited raid schedule. This shouldn't be too difficult given
we only raid 2 nights per week
show up to raid on-time: raid invites start 30 minutes
before the official raid start -- the raid start time implies the
time that we should be pulling the first trash mobs, not just
forming the group
bring flasks and potions: we have many guildmembers who
can "bro-price" you their flasks and potions if you are not an
Alchemist
show up prepared: we expect you to have read the
relevant strategy guides and watched the relevant strategy videos
for the bosses that we will be working on
show up with your gear gemmed/enchanted/reforged
optimally for your class/spec/the specific fight we will be
working on
have an excellent understanding of all the abilities,
talents, and glyphs for your class and spec
have strong raid awareness and be able to avoid
dangerous raid mechanics
have a good sense of humour and a positive attitude
towards others

Addicted Guild History:
Addicted is a small, cohesive raiding guild that is comprised of a
core of raiders who have been together since Wrath, some of who
have been together since Vanilla. That core cleared to Heroic Lich
King before taking a break to do alt and GDKP runs. A 10-man group
went on to finish heroic LK and Halion. In Cata we cleared Heroic
Spine at the 15% debuff and cleared the instance at the 20% mark
before taking a break. In MoP, we killed Heroic Garrosh before the
6.0 nerf.
That being said, we are not and will never be a 4+ night a week
guild. We have traditionally raided and continue to raid only two
nights a week (Wednesday and Sunday). This has always meant that we
have to raid smarter, not longer. We do not generally have server
first kills, but we tend to make our first kills in significantly
fewer attempts than other guilds. Because we raid “less,” we keep a
lean roster so that people get adequate play time.
To fill the other nights of the week members can often be found
doing achievement runs, challenge modes, PvP, leveling alts or just
hanging out in guild.
