VII is one of Emerald Dreams founding guilds, established in June
2005.
Now in our 10th year, VII's a Mythic 20 player difficulty raiding
guild running two teams in parallel.
We aim to provide a friendly atmosphere with vocally active members
in our raiding teams, helping each other along the way and having a
laugh, whilst maintaining steady progression in current content.
Average age of members is somewhere between mid to late 20s.
Being a large community there are almost always players online
meaning that you will have good company whenever you log into the
game day and night!
As a guild we try to balance all aspects of the game. We aren't a
hardcore raiding guild since we only officially raid for a total of
9 hours a week (3 x 3 hour raids), however, when we do raid we take
it seriously. We want our members to perform the best they can and
help us progress as a group of individuals and then get back to the
social aspects of World of Warcraft. Between raids we do expect
players to invest time to make the most of their characters, such
as getting valor point capped each week or running the current
looking for raid instances.
As a team we get involved in a lot of guild based events beyond
official raids, including challenge modes, achievement runs, and
battlegrounds. This mixture we believe brings the much needed
variety to the game and guild life and hopefully avoids burnout
from too many endless hours of raiding the same content.
