About Us
<Citadel> was formed as a partial reroll in March 2014 and
excelled in downing raid content up to 8/14 Heroic pre 6.0 before
taking a short hiatus. We achieved 13/14 Mythic post 6.0. Our
leadership consists of previous US Top 50 raiders that enjoy
downing content while still maintaining a fun atmosphere and the
ability to have a life outside the game.
There are several qualities we are looking for when we review
applicants for raiders and future long time members.
Dedicated
We only raid 8 days a month. We require 90% attendance. Absences
should be posted ahead of time, and the reason should be better
than "the game was on". We understand real life comes first;
birthdays, time with your partner or children, emergencies, etc and
so we ask that when the time does come that you must post out, it
is because you simply do not have a choice. We work and think as a
team, don't disappoint the other 19+ people.
Responsible
This a progression raiding guild full of adults. If you make a
mistake, it's okay, it happens. There are times when the raid
leader may ask "who did that?" so he/she can figure out what
exactly went wrong and if the strategy needs to be adjusted
accordingly. We expect people be responsible and admit their
mistakes "Yeah that was me, I messed up, won't happen again" and
move on. We do not yell or otherwise berate individuals for honest
mistakes. We believe in building camaraderie and a fun team
atmosphere.
Integrity and Respect
We take our reputation seriously. We are all here to have fun and
certain things are not tolerated. Trolling fellow guild mates,
trade chat, or otherwise bringing unwanted attention to our name is
something we frown upon. Sometimes we lead alt raids and have pugs
or friends along, some of them may be new. We expect everyone to be
treated with respect, regardless of rank within the guild or their
standing outside it. We do not distinguish a player based on their
gender, race, or sexual identity, but on their maturity, strength
of character, and skill.
