About <Conviction>
<Conviction> is an endgame raiding guild on Suramar (US-PvE,
Alliance).
Many of us have been raiding together since Molten Core, but what
makes <Conviction> different from other endgame raiding
guilds is our membership. The majority of us balance our raiding
with meaningful RL careers and families. Our current raid roster,
for example, boasts a doctor, a documentary film director, a
teacher, a musician, a professional CG artist, several active-duty
military, and of course the mandatory 105,000 software designers
and computer specialists. Yes, we're looking for skill, but we also
place a premium on maturity and attitude. Our class officers are
elected every six months, and we pride ourselves on having a raid
environment that's relaxed and jovial but also focused and
results-oriented.
Raid Times
Our philosophy is quality over quantity. Our raid times are as
follows (all times are Suramar server time, or PST):
Tue: 5:30-8:30
Thu: 5:30-8:30
What We're Looking For
We are currently looking for dps and a healer or 2.
However, we're always receptive to exceptional applicants of any
class and spec, and would encourage you to contact us even if
recruitment for your class/spec is currently closed.
Applicants are expected to be able to attend >75% of our raids,
and to put in the same kind of effort into their characters and
preparation that the rest of us do. That means top-end gems and
enchants, an optimally-tuned raid spec, thorough knowledge of your
class and the raid encounters, a working mic and stable Internet
connection, and an ever-burning desire to continue to grow and
improve in a team environment.
If you're a top-caliber player who values loyalty and maturity, can
locate Libya on a map, have never rolled a "rouge," and have at
