Burning Dawn is a Horde guild on the RP-PVP server Defias
Brotherhood. It was created on day 1 of the server and has been
here ever since: As a large 40-man raiding guild in Vanilla, in TBC
as more casual raiding guild in a raid alliance, during Wrath and
Cataclysm with a very competitive 10-man team and as purely social
guild in the earlier months of Pandaria. With the announcement of
Warlords of Draenor we’re finally back in the progression game.
“Quality over quantity” has been our thing during previous
expansions and we are taking it one step further now with a 2-day
Mythic raiding schedule.
Recruitment:
We would like to add a Hunter or Warlock to our team,
but applications from capable players of other classes are welcome
as well.
Raid Times:
Tuesday and Thursday 19:30 – 23:30

Additionally, we offer regular flex raids which are optional and
open to socials and alts. Difficulty (normal or heroic) as well as
frequency depend on interest.
The BD-way of raiding:
We aim to give raid atmosphere and progress both the same high
priority. We believe you can achieve good progress while being
friendly towards each other and that these two things actually go
hand-in-hand when respecting each other’s time and effort. We use
our raid hours efficiently and prepare strategies prior to raids on
our website, so we can offer 2-day raiding while being able to
clear content of the highest difficulty well before big
patch-days.
We had a very successful raid team during ICC and Cataclysm, which
killed Sinestra, Ragnaros and Madness heroic before the following
major patches on a 9 hour/per week schedule. We took a long break
which lasted from the end of Cataclysm progress (March 2012) to
March 2014 when we resurrected our raid team. Burning Dawn has had
the same guildleader for over 8 years now and is again running with
the same raid leading and officer team as during Cataclysm.
What a Dawner needs to bring:
Most importantly, you really want what we offer and do your part to
achieve it: a raid team in which everyone can feel comfortable and
that works efficiently and competitively.
You’re reliable, on time and bring close to 100% attendance, so we
can run with a small roster.
You know what you’re doing and you’re willing to do a bit more than
to just carry your own weight, in raids, during your own
preparation and in strategy discussions.
Your gear should be ready for raiding and a healthy mix of 630 and
640 items.
