<Azys> is a 4 nights a week raiding guild on
EU-Arathor/Hellfire on Alliance. Created in 2012, the guild has
since expanded its goals and reach from world rank ~ #12000 in
Dragon Soul and server rank #28 to world #212 10man in Siege of
Orgrimmar, as the first guild on Arathor. In Warlords of Draenor,
we continue to push for progress in 20man Mythic and hope to
achieve great things together!
What you can expect from us:
We consider ourselves a community with a passion for the game. We
not only raid together, but play together outside main raids, and
try to have as much fun together as we can, both in and out of
raids. That being said, we have high expectations from our raiders
and recruits during our raids; we have fun while killing bosses,
not at the expense of killing them.
We are enthusiastic and eager to play, raid and improve, and help
where we can.
We usually do alt raids, and sometimes do other guild activities,
as well as unscheduled 5mans, achievement runs and occasionally
some PvP together.
Most of all, if you want to join Azys, you should be prepared for
laughs and banter on TS, and a more casual raiding atmosphere than
what you might expect.
What we expect from you:
You are expected to be able to play at a high level, be consistent
and flexible. This includes knowing what’s good for your class/spec
for a given situation, being open to playing different specs where
beneficial (i.e. hunters being able to play MM, SV and BM, healing
priests playing Disc and Holy). If you are open to playing a
different role than the one you are applying as, that is a plus,
but not a requirement.
Be 18+
Have TS3 and a working microphone.
Maintain a raid attendance of at least 85%.
Come prepared. This means knowing your class and bosses, be
enchanted/gemmed, have pots and flasks etc.
Be able to take constructive criticism.
Raid schedule:
Monday 20:00-23:00
Wednesday 20:00-23:00
Thursday 20:00-23:00
Sunday 20:00-23:00
All times are in server time (CET). Raid invites start at 19:45,
and we try to pull the first boss at 20:00. You are expected
to inform the officers if you will be unable to attend or be late
for a raid, preferably a day in advance where possible.
Loot:
We use loot council for distribution of loot. The criteria used
include raid performance, preparation, attendance, as well as
current and total item level.
Logs:
You can find our logs primarily at WarcraftLogs, under Azys:
https://www.warcraftlogs.com/guilds/180
Recruitment:
Recruits are trialed for 1-4 weeks, depending on how much time is
required to evaluate performance. If there are no doubts, a trial
period is unlikely to last more than a week. Trials are encouraged
to contact an Officer during their trial period if they have any
questions.
Trials are down-prioritised for loot.
Please fill in this form and mail it to azysofficer@gmail.com if
you think you've got what it takes! If you do choose to apply,
please put some effort into your applications, as our initial
response will depend greatly on what you have to say and your past
logs/performance.

Exceptional and nice players are always considered for recruitment,
even when we're not looking for any class in specific.
Questions and contact info:
If you have any questions or want to talk to one of the officers
before applying, add one of our BTags or send an in-game mail to
Cyndy, Guz, Andrily or Ragveil (on Arathor).

Finally, some inspirational words from our beloved GM:
"Let me tell you something you already know, raids ain't all
sunshine and rainbows, it's a very mean and nasty place, and I
don't care how tough you are!
It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if
you let it. You, me, nobody is gonna hit as hard as wipes! But it
ain't about how hard you get hit.
It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how
much you can take and keep moving forward. That's how winning is
done! If you know what you're worth,
then get out and get what you're worth! But you gotta be willing to
take the hits and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you
wanna be because of him or her or anybody,
cowards do that and that ain't you! You're better than that!"
