Thud and Blunder of Zul'jin is currently recruiting all positions
in an effort to bring our MoP 10-man Heroic raid team to the new
20-man Mythic level in WoD. We are currently ranked 81st of 514 on
Zul'jin for 10-man progression.
Raid schedule:
Thursday & Friday 8 - 11:30PM server time (Eastern)
What we can offer you
Thud and Blunder is a semi-hardcore progression guild that strives
to be as competitive as the top guilds without all of the stress
and exhaustive time commitment. Our goal is to do in two days what
it takes other guilds to do in four or five. This means that we
have to be efficient with our time--no drama, no face pulling, no
beating around the bush. Every moment is a chance to improve the
team; so we take it. This means that we work the identify problems
in our strategy and execution at every possible juncture: just
wiped and running back? Let’s check the logs see why we died.
Barely pulled through by the skin of our teeth? Let’s see who’s
under-performing and help get them up to snuff. We do this equally
for all players. We’re not here to hold your hand; but we do want
to help you better contribute to the success of the team.
All of us are here because we love raiding. Beating difficult
challenges while having fun is our goal. The environment is casual
and friendly--and maybe a bit nerdy at times. We love to joke
around and hang out, but when the tank says “Pulling in…” it’s time
to get down to business.
What we are looking for
You. Well, potentially, you. We are looking for someone who enjoys
and wants to raid with the same group of people for the long haul.
Someone who has the drive and desire to invest themselves as fully
and capably as they can to the goals of the team. Someone who
enjoys some friendly competition as well as a willingness to share
thoughts and insights about their class and role. Someone with a
sense of humor and the ability to be serious when the situation
calls for it.
Since we don’t raid forty-plus hours a week, we need someone who is
prepared even before invites go out. Someone who does their
research in advance of the coming battles. Someone who keeps up on
the latest developments for the class or spec. Someone who will
pitch in to help a fellow team member when the unforeseen
happens.
Basically what this boils down to is: give a !@#$. Everything else
here is just details, and much of it is subject to change, but this
rule is non-negotiable. If you’re the kind of person who thinks
people on the internet aren't “real” people, this is not the guild
for you.
