Core is a semi-hardcore 25 man raid guild. We are made up of
laid-back adult players who enjoy not only raiding but playing
together as well. Core was founded August 2007. At 7 years old, we
are not one of the many fly-by-night operations that plague the
servers.
We are looking for dedicated raiders for mythic raiding in WoD.
With a limited weekend schedule, we expect people who want to
progress and push forward with a high degree of personal
accountability. If you don't want to be on time, prepared, don't
want to watch a video, or are not exactly the best player at
dodging avoidable mechanics, stop reading, go away, don't waste my
time or yours. We don't run an internment camp. This isn't Parris
Island. We're not here to scream, berate, and whip people on a
march to world/server first anything. That's not our goal. Our goal
is continuous progression, while also allowing for a fun
environment. Compromising that environment with either some form of
attitude or performance issue will end up in your being replaced.
If you can't handle wiping, extending raids, or min/maxing
yourself, don't apply. If you're a grass is greener on the other
side of the fence type of person when the going gets tough, you're
a quitter, don't waste our time, or any guild's time for that fact,
nobody likes you.
You must be someone who not only wants to raid, but wants to be
part of the guild environment. This means not just logging on for
raids only, but also contributing to the guild with farming and
being on at least every now and then outside of raid time. It also
means we're looking for someone dedicated to us. We don't accept
those who want to play in other guilds or have 10 characters in 10
different guilds.
Your personality is just as important as your performance! We like
social players who enjoy joking with others and performing in a
team environment. You can be the top player in the world, but if
you're an asshole, you'll be thrown out of here faster than you can
key your mic.
With MoP, we fooled around with some unofficial guild RBGs. If
you're a PvP-type person, let us know! We're looking to form a
dedicated RBG group for some midweek non-raiding fun.
We also have people that play a ton of non-WoW stuff together. If
you're looking for a real group environment and not just people who
solely raid together, this may be just the place for you.
