The difference:
Wowaholics Anonymous was formed in 2009 with the idea that guilds
could progress in heroics on a casual schedule. To this day, we
continue to raid less than 8 hours a week and remain in the top 2%
of the WoW raiding player base.
Atmosphere:
Our guild consists of competitive players who desire a fun, but
progressive environment. We focus on efficiency instead of flailing
our arms at dragons and hoping something happens. Our players have
been in several hardcore guilds in the past, but all of those
guilds have one thing in common – a volatile atmosphere. We strive
to not let this happen by keeping the atmosphere lighthearted, but
focused.
Backs will not be injured
Efficiency is key to our success. We would not be able to progress
without having great players in every single role. Our entire
roster consists of some of the best players you’ll find! Just look
at our WoL rankings for proof!
Collaborative raid environment
We are a team and a family. Every member contributes to our
strategies. We discuss, develop, and then execute strategies
together.
Raid Times:
Friday and Saturday 9:00pm to 12:00am PST
Current Needs
We prefer players with a 640+ ilevel, but will consider less for
the right person.
Expectations:
1. Dedicated, and reliable members. If you cannot commit to near
100% attendance during our progression raids, this is not the Guild
for you!
2. Highly skilled players. You must understand that topping the
damage or healer meters does not necessarily mean you are skilled.
Being able to avoid detrimental mechanics while performing your
role competitively IS.
3. Highly active members. We're looking for people who take pride
in their guild and want to continually make the guild better. We
are not looking for raiders who log on for raids, and then
disappear the remaining week. It's not uncommon to find 5+ members
per night in Ventrilo. If this does not sound appealing to you,
then this is not the Guild for you!
4. Great Attitude. Wipes happen. If you are about to quit WoW, or
can't handle your temper, this is not the guild for you!
