Crossbones was formed out of necessity, we had been around since
2005 as the vanilla raiding guilds formerly known as Shadow
Strikers and Brothers of Night.
The 2 guilds formed a bond in Burning Crusade that saw the birth of
a joint raid group. As our numbers increased into Wrath of the Lich
King our joint raid became joint raids as we saw 2 full 25 man
groups through to most of Ice Crown Citadel. When news hit that
guild levels and achievements would only count if a certain number
of each guild was in each raid, the decision was pressed to
merge.
On Sept 6 2010, Crossbones was born, and has since grown to include
numerous members. 975+ characters over 300+ accounts with 150 at
level 100 only 2 months into WoD. We are what you might call an
'everything' guild, we have semi hardcore raiders in two core
groups, as well as alt runs that raid 1 or more days a week.
Maturity has always been a large part of the guild with most, if
not all, of the officers being roughly at, or above, the age of 35
and the average guildie age being around the same.
We enjoy playing the game World of Warcraft, and are always
accepting new members. Just be prepared to follow the application
process, as it gives the officers one chance to really look into
