ABOUT US
Perpetual Motion is newer guild, a collaboration between players
who have been in top guilds, cleared all content to date, been in
leadership roles for 5+ years,(Molten Core-Cata) want to strive to
dominate the competition on our server, and uphold high Wowprogress
rankings. We are currently opening recruiting all truly exceptional
players so that we may push hard through the current tier of
content, and towards Deathwing. While our main focus is 10 man
raiding we also run 10s with alts, and we maintain a strong
presence in rated battlegrounds and world pvp.
We are looking for competent players to progression through
Cataclysm Heroic modes.
RAID TIMES
Mon-Thurs 6:00-10:00PM ST with a flex hour on nights deemed
necessary for progression.
WHAT WE OFFER
A dedicated group of talented players who enjoy all aspects of the
game but will strive for high ranking boss kills as well as
complete all raid related achievements in a healthy and FUN
atmosphere. Weekend rated BG groups! We also run content for
valuable items/achievements/mounts even old stuff (some of you may
remember our weekly Alone in the Darkness and LoD runs, more of
that stuff will come!)
CLASSES RECRUITING
We maintain a firm philosophy that it is better to raid with 21
players than carry 4 baddies. That being said these are core spots,
we do not recruit for bench, only unforeseen absences, and maintain
a tight roster of about 30 players. While we don't actively seek to
replace players who we feel are up to snuff we value competition as
a motivator for improvement. So feel free to apply if you are an
exceptional player even if we are not directly recruiting your
class.
OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM YOU
*Pvers who can come to raids fully prepared with knowledge of each
encounter and the mats to succeed during.
*Pvpers who are 2k+ in arena and want to strive and continue to be
dominate in arena rated bg's and world pvp.
*Players who have an in-depth knowledge of their class and keep up
to date with relevant information.
*Because we do not recruit for bench we expect all raiders to
maintain HIGH attendance.
*Long Term players who enjoy playing the game together, those that
have a great sense of humor are Intelligent and are active together
outside of our more focused raids times.
More Specific Talents
Theory Crafters- Those that can carry on an intelligent in-depth
conversation about class/boss mechanics, rotations and
itemization/stat priorities.
Analysts- Those that enjoy looking at World of Logs and giving
other players valuable feedback on things they may be able to
improve on, or ways that we can optimize our raids.
Strategists- Those that can create strategies for bosses to aid in
an easier, cleaner, and higher ranked kills, or faster kill
times.
Media Creators- Those that enjoy creating wow movies for the
promotion of our guild, our kills, or pvp action. Also those that
have experience with web design.
Writers- Those who can develop wow related strategy for pve/pvp or
class guides capable of being stickied on the forums, or published
on a blog/some other medium.
Pure Talent- Players with tons of raid experience or gladiators who
are exceptional no matter what role they are filling. We want
elitists in skill NOT attitude.
