Current Progression
Acheron is currently 14/14 -25 man as of 11/21/13 and is continuing
to progress every week.
Acheron (Alliance – Burning Legion) currently has raid
openings for the following class/specs:

So as many have noticed by the state of our forums and the lack of
updates, Acheron has been a bit stagnant the last few months.
Acheron is one of the oldest guilds on burning legion. Guilds tend
to come and go as the server population increases and decreases,
and this expansion has proven to be no exception. We're currently
at that point in the expansion where almost no one is online. I
want to throw this out there, front and center on our homepage, for
everyone who may be concerned; Acheron is not going anywhere.
We've decided, as a guild, that we're taking a break until Warlords
of Draenor is released. When that time comes, the officer core and
I (Faerjan) will be coming back in full force. We will be raiding,
and we will be just as strong as we were in past expansions.
Whether I will lead the raids myself or one of our officers will
pick up the slack... when the expansion hits, Acheron will be back.
My suggestion for our current raiders is to use this time to relax
and decompress; what that means in your own situation is up to you.
Acheron has always had an open door policy - not only do I consider
myself to be someone people can come to with problems, but as far
as raiding with other guilds, if raiders feel they need some
experience with another guild during our break we encourage our
raiders to do what they feel best for their own situation. We don't
hold it against anyone who feels they need to take some time off.
We welcome back our members if they decide Acheron is their
home.
More than anything, we want to assure everyone that when WoD hits,
we'll be here - so feel free to have some fun until then. WoD is
only a few short months away, and we're itching to start topping
those progression charts again. The Acheron family is strong: your
GM is committed to making sure we're the best in this expansion,
both as a strong progression guild and a guild that is inviting to
both casual players and hardcore raiders alike.
