Echo of Ages is an English speaking PvE raiding guild based
on the European Al'Akir Server.
The guild has existed in various incarnations since just after
Beta. We are not as hardcore as some guilds, do not join expecting
world first kills, but this doesn't mean we suffer poor play.
Everyone joining is expected to have a high level of competence and
skill enough for a high end guild, we are just a group of people
who enjoy playing the game at a more relaxed pace.
The average age of our members is over 20+ and most our players
have been playing together since the release of the game.
We have a member rank for those close friends of the guild that
have stopped raiding but the focus of anyone reading this should be
to participate in raids.
All members are expected to raid as much as they can. Raiding is
mandatory.
Playing alts, farming gold, rep and PvP will have to be done
outside the raiding hours.
The raiding times are as follows:
20:00 to 00:00 servertime from Monday to Thursday
Members are required to inform the guild, if they are going to miss
a raid, there is a dedicated procedure running for this.
Being offline without any notice repeatedly will lead to removal
from the guild. Be in no doubt that attendance and availability are
one of the focal points of your trial and continued membership.
Members have to be prepared for every single raid. This means
having the required consumables and being present on time.
Everybody has a responsibility to do their own gold and consumable
farming.
Should you get accepted guild vault pays your repairs on
progression raids.
Members are required to maintain a very high raid attendance. We
have a small roster and we need players with solid
availability.
To this end we expect trials to play even more than established
raiders to impress, missing raids whilst on trial will lead to a
quick exit.
A potential recruit has to be punctual and polite and maintain a
very high raid attendance. This is especially important for
progression raids.
The recruit has to be competitive and always trying to improve his
game. We are looking for players who want to deliver flawless
performance and aren't content with being average.
It's also a huge plus if the player isn't afraid to talk
intelligently about their experience gained during each
confrontation and has the capacity to grasp the whole picture.
There is no specific gear requirement. We have recruited and geared
up several undergeared players in the past but you really need to
convince us that it is going to be worth the effort.

Exceptional applicants (you're pretty sure you'd be as good as, or
even better than, our best members) are welcome to submit apps
which will be considered, but we do maintain a small roster and and
always try our best to not encourage overcrowding.

separate thread as this position will obviously need filling as
soon as possible.
