Synchronized Guidelines and Expectations:
- Prioritize a guild centric mindset. Members will be sitting,
sacrificing dps to fulfill support roles, and farming outside of
raids to accomplish this. Recognize if your class isnt’t optimal on
a fight and look for solutions to
bypass any barriers the guild has in front of it’s goals. Give your
fellow guild-mates the benefit of the doubt and try to work with
people rather than point fingers or assign blame.
- Maintain near perfect attendance. Post ahead of time as soon as
you know if you will not be able to make a raid. Exchange phone
numbers with the officers to facilitate communication.
- Be focused and prepared for raids. Have all consumables ready.
Farm reputations and related Items in a timely manner. Take
advantage of seasonal buffs and perks. Be awake, sober and ready to
go during raids. If for some reason
you’re not in the best state, communicate it to the officers so a
solution may be found.
- Make every attempt count. Don’t give up or think a fight is
impossible. Always pre-pot. Avoid distractions. “Expect great
things to happen and they will.” Most of the time winning or losing
comes down to one person doing something
super clutch at the most important moment. When your time comes “Be
a hero”
- Min/Maxing should be second nature. Use best enchants/gems etc.
Respec and specialize for specific progression fights. Level raid
centric professions. Do everything to ensure that gold is not a
limiting factor on your character’s
progression. Gold is a grind just like any reputation.
- Fully test and understand fights. Try out odd and creative CC’s
and abilities to see if they work on new fights. Recognize and take
advantage of your class’s strengths and weaknesses with regard to a
specific fight. Read and
understand boss abilities, phases, etc. Tailor your UI to a fight
such as using power auras to show when you have a specific
debuff.
- No excuses. Never will an attempt occur where every single member
could not have performed better.
