Hello!
<Essence> originally known as <Boot Camp> is a Horde
guild on Sunstrider EU. We are looking for that final few to
complete our Mythic team!
Why Us?
We are a sociable, friendly team that speak English and are mostly
above (20+) years of age. We aim for progress without the need to
play the game endlessly and we oppose any kind of elitist
environment. Despite our casual raiding schedule we expect our
members to make the most of their characters and execute them well
in raids.
What you can expect from us
- A raiding spot, we don't need you for the bench.
- We are not, and will never be a hardcore raiding guild, but we
have skilled players.
- A place to call home, we are here for the long haul.
- We joke, make fun of each other, have a real laugh and still get
bosses down with ease. We know how to have fun, but also when to
have fun.
- We know how to run a guild and run one well at all levels of
progression. Our leadership experience runs back to vanilla.
- Organisation; raids will be prepared well and on time, we value
the importance of your time.
- Clear communication; raids are currently led well by British
speakers with clear voices on Teamspeak.
- Patience. We know we will wipe and we know we will have setbacks
and sometimes it might be your fault. It’s the way we deal with
those negative circumstances that set us apart from the rest.
What we expect from you
- High attendance and a stable connection as we only raid twice a
week.
- Sign up to raids on the calendar, turning up on time is equally
as important.
- Be prepared with flasks & pots.
- Communication; read our guild forums and have a working mic for
Teamspeak.
- Knowledge of boss encounters.
- Know your class well and how to perform it to the maximum. Be
able to take constructive criticism.
Gear is not everything; we value the qualities of an individual
over item level so do not be afraid to apply if gear is
lacking!

Sunday 20:00 - 23:00
Tuesday 20:00 - 23:00
Raid invites are 15 minutes earlier than the above time and we run
optional normal/heroic runs on Friday with socials and alts for
those interested.
