Army of the Howling Wind originated on Dentarg since Ulduar first
opened. Since then, AOTHW has been working diligently on current
raiding content. As of now, we are a semi-hardcore (Depends on how
you define "semi-hardcore") raiding guild focusing on progression
in BRF. We try to maintain a focused and progression orientated
raiding atmosphere while not losing track of what this game is
about.

What is expected of you before applying to <AOTHW>
Skill:
You have high raid awareness while being able to perform your job.
You strive to play to the best of your abilities and rarely make
mistakes that will cause your death or another raider's death. You
adapt to encounters quickly and fix any error in your play
immediately.
Effort:
You read and watch videos pertaining to encounters the guild will
be working on. You frequently visit informational sites to stay
up-to-date on your class. You theory craft and practice spell
rotations to maximize your performance. Ideally, you should have
the best possible race and professions for your specific role.
Gear:
You always have the best gems and enchants. While gear is not
everything, it is still very important. In your spare time, you
should participate in activities to acquire gear upgrades that is
not obtained in normal/heroic mode raiding.
Reliability:
You have excellent raid attendance and you are always on time.
Absences and tardiness can only be an extreme rarity. You are
required to post your raid availability via calendar invites prior
to an absence (48 hour minimum notice), or contact an officer in
the raid.
Personality:
You enjoy raiding and want to do your best. You can take criticism
and always want to improve. You respect other players and are able
to take a joke.
Flexibility:
You have an off spec and know how to use it. You are willing to
keep up with the gear and the theory crafting to be able to help
out your team in different situations if needed.
Recruitment Processes
Those interested in joining <AOTHW> should contact Epipens,
Phobias, or Nòva in game to set up a vent interview. This will
serve as the initial application process. Applicants accepted into
the guild will be put into our trial rank for a couple of
days/weeks. During this time period, officers will evaluate your
performance, attendance, etc. to decide if you should be promoted
out of the trial rank and obtain a spot in the raiding team. If the
officers do not find you to be a good fit for AOTHW, your
application will be terminated and you will be removed from the
raiding roster.
