About Us
Who is John Galt? is a 20-man Mythic guild in US-Hyjal
server (previously from US-Suramar), raiding on short 9 hour/week
schedule (3x3).
We started raiding in 2006 with Karazhan being our first raid as a
guild. We ultimately finished TBC as only the second guild on
US-Suramar to kill M'uru in Sunwell plateau prenerf. In Wotlk, we
achieved the following server firsts on US-Suramar:
Server First Light of Dawn - (Heroic Lich King 25 kill)
Server First Heroic Halion 25-man.
Server First Heroic Nefarion 25-Man
Server First Sinestra 25-Man

Right before Warlords of Draenor[WoD], we moved to US-Hyjal and
cleared Mythic SoO quickly.
Raid Times
Tue/Thurs/Sun - 7:30 to 10:30 PM PST (Server Time)
Alt-raid Times
Wed/Fri - 7:30 to 10 PM PST (alt raids are optional)
Loot System:
We use EPGP as our loot system. This is a fair attendance based
loot system with no rank based biases, which means the more raids
you attend, the more loot you will get.You can find out more about

Who are we looking for?
This is a guild comprising of working professionals with various
time consuming day jobs and with an insane passion for "World of
Warcraft" in general, and WoW Raiding in particular. We value our
raiders' time. Raids begin and end on the minute with a flexible
10-15 break depending on raid situation. We greatly value proper
raid preparation (this includes researching the fight and
specifically your class/spec specific optimizations based on that
fight). We raid very short hours, so optimization is key for us.
Your passion for the game and raiding should drive you to try your
best, even though work/time constraints may prevent you from the
more hardcore 20+ hour raid week schedule.
