About Us:
The Order Of Athena is a fairly new guild just formed during the
end of Mists Of Pandaria. We are a semi-hardcore group of people
that are looking to clear content progressively, while maintaining
a fun and casual atmosphere. We are seeking to redouble our raiding
efforts as we begin the new expansion with an established raid team
that can maintain progression as we aim to fill our Mythic roster.
If you are seeking to maximize your enjoyment while actively
progressing through content as a team, we encourage you to inquire
within.
Raid Schedule:
Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday nights from 00:00-03:00 EST.
Recruitment Needs:
Healers: 1 (Paladin)
M. DPS: 1 (Rogue)
R. DPS: 1 (Mage, Ele Sham)
Raid Environment
Above all, we value progression and preparedness. We aim to
maintain a fun, friendly, and low-stress environment. We are
looking for raiders who can show up consistently, knowing full well
what is expected of them in each encounter, and fully prepared to
perform their role to the best of their ability each night. We are
an adult oriented guild and thus there is going to be adult
conversation. That being said, we do not tolerate others being rude
towards each other, nor do we tolerate being unprepared or
underperforming in your role. We do not carry raiders, and all of
our raid spots are competitive and earned. If you are not able to
come prepared, having read up on fights, and with a good attitude
each week, you are not a proper fit for us.
Loot Rules:
Loot is distributed via a loot council styled system. We aim to
gear people evenly and in a way that most benefits the raid. We
seek progression first, and think only of how an item will benefit
our group, not an individual player.
Attendance:
We expect our raiders to maintain a near perfect attendance rate.
We understand “Real life” happens and can get in the way of
raiding, but this is not just a game to us. You have a group of
very real people who are relying on you to be there every schedule
night just as they are. In the case that you are going to miss a
raid, please let an officer know as far ahead of time as
possible.
