Intro
Hello all!
Welcome to the <Dissident> guild page. Dissident formed in
the game Wildstar in early June 2014 from nothing and quickly
progressed to be a top 30 world guild raiding on just 3 nights a
week. When Wildstar's sense of progression diminished for most of
our members, we called it quits there and brought our guild to WoW.
Now we aim to be a top 300 US guild on only 3 nights a week. While
it is a very bold goal, we feel it can easily be accomplished.
About Us
Our raiders all have very extensive backgrounds throughout not only
WoW but other MMOs as well. Now with WoD released we aim to go hard
on content. We raid 3 days a week only, and are progressing as
expected. However, we need to move quickly to remain competitive.
Thats where labeling ourselves as hardcore comes in.
A hardcore guild isn't defined by the amount of days they raid, but
rather what they expect of their members. As such, we expect all
applicants and current recruits, members, and raiders to know their
class and raid mechanics inside and out. As stated before we raid 3
days per week, and as such we need to be a very efficient raiding
guild. While we realize progression due to our schedule will take
time at some points, we don't want to be stuck there forever.
