Unoptimistic is based on EU Auchindoun Alliance (previously
Pandamonium on Twisting Nether Horde). The majority of our players
have been playing together in one form or another since Vanilla /
Burning Crusade times.
We raid on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 20:00 to 23:00 and on a
Sunday from 19:00 to 23:00 on a Sunday during progress.
We're looking for players that are fun, dedicated and motivated to
push the game to its limits. Being able to talk on Mumble is a
must. We require that all applicants are strongly fluent in both
spoken and written English and are over the age of 18.
If you are interested, please make an application directly on our
website.
You can also add the battletag Andyo#2525 if you wish to discuss
anything prior to applying. NB. Whispers asking questions to
which the answers are below or asking "ilevel requirement" will be
ignored.
Thank you !
FAQ
-You're not showing as recruiting my specific class & spec,
would you still be interested in me?
We are always on the look out for strong players. If you feel you'd
make a great addition, please apply! It never hurts to see what
happens!
-It says you're recruiting "All Classes", does this mean you're
interested in X spec for Y class?
It says all classes because we're open to applications from all
classes! The hint is in the name!
-I am a re roller / newly returned player and I don't have much
gear. Would you be interested in me?
We are not in the position to take on re roll projects. To make a
trial you will need to bring the relevant gear and experience to
step into the main raid group immediately.
-How long will it take for my application to be read?
Most are read with in hours (sometimes minutes) of being submitted.
We always respond to all applications, even if it's a simple one
liner to inform you that your application has been unsuccessful.
Successful applicants will receive "what to do next" information
usually with in 24 hours.
-How long will my trial last?
As long as we see fit.
-Is it important that I am able to speak on mumble?
Players that are silent, especially in a small group are often the
opposite of useful.
-Will I get loot on trial?
Maybe, but members do tend to take priority over trials though.
-How often will I see raid time vs bench time?
It highly depends on the fight we're progressing on. We always roll
with the best possible setup. That could mean you're benched for a
while, but the guilds and raids needs are valued far higher than
the individual.
-Do you expect me to be available if I am on the bench?
It is highly desirable yes. Not necessarily online in game, but
contactable to be able to log.
-I want to apply and raid with my friend / relative, is this
ok?
We view all trials separately & do not in any way judge players
in groups. If it is important that you always raid with a friend /
relative this probably wont be the environment that will allow you
to do so.
