West Koasta Nostra is one of the oldest guilds on the Antonidas
realm. We began when the realm first went live back in January of
2007. We are a medium core guild. We aren't extremely demanding,
simply get things done in a timely manner.
RAID TIMES (all times are PST/server time):
Tuesday 9PM to 12AM
Sunday 9PM to 12AM
Monday 9PM to 12AM
Recruitment:
We are currently in the rebuilding process after some tough times.
We are in need of 1 dedicated healer, 1 solid tank and good DPS,
melee perfered, but all good DPS will be considered.
GEAR:
To begin raiding we are looking for people who have a desire to
raid and a determination to learn everything they can about their
class/spec. We want to see that you are trying to understand your
class and are serious about wanting to raid.
EXPECTATIONS:
We are looking for someone who:
- Can raid 3 hours each raid.
- Knows their class well and pushes to be the best.
- Must have 80% raid attendance.
- Doesn't slack and hold back or continually make the same
mistakes.
- Willingness to learn and take constructive criticism.
- Comes to raids prepared with all consumables, and gold for
repairs.
- Have proper enchants, gemming of gear, and reforging.
TRIAL STATUS:
When you first join the guild, you will be put on trial status
which will last for a minimum of 2 weeks. This means you will have
the rank of "Snitch." After your trial period expires, and if it
went well, you will be granted higher status ("Soldier") in the
guild and potentially gain a full time raid spot. You are not
guaranteed a raid spot and may be on "Standby" during your trial
period; however, we will get you in to see your performance.
ATTENDANCE:
We expect you to attend 80% of the raids. We have a very tolerant
raid attendance compared to other guilds, as we realize real life
issues do happen. However we are looking for members that are
excited to and want to raid during our raid times. If you are not a
person that loves to log on and raid, whether it is for a night of
wiping and learning a boss or farming bosses we already know, then
please don't waste our times with an application. Failure to
maintain the minimum raid attendance during your trial could lead
to removal from the guild.
BEHAVIOR:
Please, feel free to be social with your guild members. We tend to
be funny and easy going. If you are negative towards other guild
members, you could be removed.
PERFORMANCE:
During our raids, you are expected to be on top of your game. The
Raid Leader(s) will explain the fights when necessary. In the
interest of time, if you do have a question, whisper one of the
officers. If we determine your performance is an issue, we will sub
you out.
LOOT COUNCIL:
Our current loot system is Loot Council. Loot is awarded based on
performance, attendance, and general need. During our raids, the
Loot Master will link the item in a Raid Warning. If you want to be
considered for that item, please link your current item in Officer
Chat (/O). The officers discuss and vote on who receives the loot.
We will consider what is the biggest upgrade for the guild/raid as
a whole.
APPLICATION PROCESS:
Be thorough with you application and provide as much information as
you can. A log is not required (although encouraged) unless you are
applying for a closed class/spec. We will review all applications,
including those that are applying to a closed class/spec. Check
back often as we may have questions for you.
