What is Dagon Roots?
Dagon Roots was formed in the very early days of WoW on the
Bloodscalp EU server, and has since been there as a guild that
focusses on PVE Raiding. We have made steady progress through all
the tiers of raiding so far.
Some highlights were clearing Sunwell Plateau before the release of
WotLK, the meta raid-achievement in 25 (and 10) man Ulduar, kicking
the Lich King off his frozen throne, 8/8 HC in Dragon Soul and more
recently 13/14 HC SoO (pre-nerf).
Dagon Roots is a well-established guild with a stable core of
players. We're an international guild, with players from all over
Europe.
We try to maintain a friendly and mature atmosphere within the
guild. Most of us are at work/school or otherwise busy during the
day, and want to have a good evening of raiding with friends. So
while we're not a hardcore raiding machine and do like to have a
laugh, we also expect players to put in the effort that allows us
to continue to bash our way through the challenges Blizzard throws
at us.
For raiding we field a raiding team on mondays, wednesdays,
thursdays and sundays from 20:00 till 23:00 server time. We also
organize flex raids each friday and tuesday for all members, alts
and friends of Dagon Roots.
What do we expect from an applicant?
We require raiders to attend at least two scheduled raids each
week.
While we don't ask for a specific level of gear, we do expect
people to have put in the effort to optimize their setup as much as
reasonably can be expected. That means having a raiding spec, the
right enchantments, the right gems, reforged items, certain
reputations at exalted, etc.
We generally do not recruit players younger than 16 years.
