Angels Of Ares is a successful and well-established Alliance
Raiding Guild on Emerald Dream EU realm. It was created on the 17th
June 2005, just four months after World of Warcraft went live and
is currently one of the most competitive raiding guilds on the
server. It has also remained amongst the top Raiding Guilds on the
server over five expansions, despite being one of the few guilds
(previously 25man) to raid only three evenings per week.
Our main aim is to strike that balance of solid current tier
raid progress within our extremely modest raiding hours, whilst
maintaining a strong social feel within the Guild. We are keen to
maintain stability within the Guild without over-recruiting as we
continue progressing through WoD Mythic raiding.

Why AoA? What you can expect.
- An extremely well-established guild which has been in existence
for over 9 years.
- We consistently clear normal mode and heroic content while it is
current.
- On many evenings there are between 10 and over 40 members online,
making us one of the most active guilds on the server.
- As well as a successful raiding team, we have alt runs and
fun/transmog runs. We even have guild LFR groups.
- If you want PvP, we have arena masters and players rated over
2200 who are constantly active in bg's and arena.
- No need to spend hours wiping in heroic pugs, as there always
members doing heroics.
- If you need help with an alt, we have world ranked players in
every class who can offer advice.
- Our members are mature, friendly and respectful, and only become
members after extensive discussion by the officers.
What we expect from you.
Any applicants should be skilled and experienced players who are
committed and loyal to a guild and to a raid team. We also expect
you to maximise your character in every way possible with the
correct enchants and optimal secondary stats where possible. All
raiders should be in front of the raid instance 5 minutes before
the raid start, with their own flasks, pots and food already on
them. We are NOT looking for players who are not committed.
We do not want excuses, people who turn up late for raids, or
people who cannot play as part of a team. If you are looking for a
guild which tolerates this standard of play, this guild is not for
you.
Current progress is 3/7 Mythic Highmaul. We are recruiting
exceptional players to join us as we progress through Mythic
encounters and head into the next WoD tier.
In particular, we are considering;
2-3 strong Melee DPS
1-2 strong Healers (preferably resto druid/shaman or paladin)
Exceptional applicants of any class will always be
considered.
Players must be mature and know the current encounter. We also ask
that their characters are geared appropriately for current Mythic
content.
