General:
End of Days (US Thrall - PvE) is a semi-casual, end-game focused
guild that is currently looking for friendly adults to join our
ranks. Although we are always happy to bring in new friends to join
as social/casual members, we are also looking for
progression-focused players with endgame experience that want to
see endgame content in a friendly, stable, and structured
atmosphere.
EoD does not feel the need to have the largest player base on our
realm, as we value quality over quantity. This being said, End of
Days does not recruit raiders for the bench. If we bring you into
the guild to raid, we will be up-front with you about our current
needs and whether or not the position is for a full-time or standby
raiding spot. Although we are currently focusing on 10-man content,
there is the possibility that we could go back to a 25-man format
if the demand within the guild is there.
Recruitment/Additional Info:
Age Requirement: Adults only (18+)
Raid Times (EST):
Tuesday: 7:30-10:00pm
Wednesday: 7:30-10:00pm
Sunday: 6:00-8:30pm
Depending on the current progression or RL events, these times are
subject to change; however we do not foresee any required raiding
beyond the above times.
Attendance Policy: Since we are a progression focused guild,
attendance to our raids is mandatory for raiding members of the
guild. We can help a struggling player make improvements, however
we cannot force him/her to show up for raids. This being said, we
are only looking for players that can consistently make our raid
times. If you are scheduled to raid on a specific night, you are
expected to be at the raid location with all consumables and
necessary items before start time.
Being an adult guild, most of us have careers/families and
understand that sometimes RL can interfere with raiding. These
sorts of situations are understood as long as it does not become a
consistent problem. If you cannot make a scheduled raid, you are
expected to notify an officer as soon as you are aware of the
conflict.
We take our attendance policy very seriously and expect raiding
members of the guild to attend a minimum of 90% of our raids. If
you are a member of the raid team, 9 other people are counting on
you. If you don’t show up, you let the entire team down. The number
one reason we remove players from the guild is due to poor raid
attendance.
Looting Policy: We currently use a Loot-Council system.
Voice: We use Mumble, not vent. It is required - no
exceptions
What EoD Expects from Members: As a member of EoD, you are
expected to always represent the guild in a positive manner
(whether it be in or out of guild communication). We do not
tolerate trolling or bashing of other players under any
circumstance - any violation of this policy will result in
immediate removal from the guild. We do not condone elitism in any
way, shape, or form. We do not need to tell people how great we
are; we let our actions speak for us. You are always expected to
bring your “A-game” to raids and other guild events. If a problem
ever arises within the guild, you are expected to communicate with
the guild administration so we are able to address your issue in an
adult and appropriate manner. Finally (and most importantly), we
expect you to log in and have fun. Come to raids prepared to have
fun. Although this recruitment message may sound “official”, we
definitely know how to have fun during our raids. If we aren’t
having fun, there is no point in playing the game.
What You can Expect from EoD: Members of End of Days can and
should expect a stable and reliable guild community. You can expect
a top-notch raiding experience with EoD that will allow every
member of the group to excel in the endgame experience. As a guild,
we will always do our best to provide a comfortable gaming
environment for all of our members. You can expect fair guild
leadership, as well as a voice in guild policy. These are some of
the core values we believe in and because of this, we have
historically had very low member turnover.
How to Apply: If you are interested in joining End of Days,
please go to the “Apply to EoD” tab on our website and fill out an
application! In most cases, your application will be reviewed
within 48 hours.
Additional Information: If you have any further questions,
please feel free to contact Riehl, or any officer of End of Days
and we will happy to get you the info you need.
