***Patch 5.4 Recruitment Update***
Looking for 2 Ranged DPS for raid group (no need to join guild, but
have to be punctual)
Recruiting: NEED a cloth DPS (100% of cloth loot will go to you)!
also looking for a tank
we are currently taking applications for the above listed classes
(although any strong applicant will be considered). Retribution
wants to start of 5.2 with a strong raiding group so apply now if
interested!
Retribution
Retribution prides itself on our value of friendship over loot. If
you are looking to get geared up, you need to look elsewhere. If
you are looking for a home, Retribution might be for you. We expect
all members and potential recruits to:
- Act like an adult, regardless of age. This doesn't mean you cant
joke or have fun, but there is a proper way to act (i.e. not
spamming Trade etc).
- Keep an open mind when it comes to feedback. Understand that the
Officers do their best to improve the raid, them telling you to not
stand in fire isn't the same as them saying you are a baddie.
- Have an average ilevel of 390+ (397+ Preferred as we are now
focusing on only Heroic content) gear with proper enchants and
gems.
- Have at least one proper raiding spec.*
- Have ventrillo installed and configured. You are not expected to
talk (it helps though) but you are expected to listen.
- Have Raid appropriate mods (DBM/Omen etc) installed and
updated
- Be willing to invest time and energy to better yourself in the
game, a strong desire to progress in 10 man content while part of a
fun raiding environment.
*Sometimes while Raiding we run into an issue where we only need
one tank for an encounter (Magmaw). In the event that we have too
many of something we will ask that some change their specs (Off
Spec) or sit out for the encounter. Having 2 useful raiding specs
(with proper gear, gems and enchants) will ensure that YOU the
player get to raid for the maximum amount of time.
Raiding
Retribution raids on Tuesday and Thursday nights from 8-12 EST
(Server Time).
Raid Members Recieve the following Benefits:
-Flasks/Pots/Elixirs and Food: Free during raid
-Enchants and Gems: Free
-Repair costs covered by guild (amount varies pending
progression)
Recruitment
We will consider an application with as much effort as it took to
write. In other words, if you take 30 seconds to write it, we'll
take 30 seconds to deny it. We FIRMLY believe that the effort that
you put in BEFORE you're in the guild will show us how much effort
you're planning on putting in once you join the guild.
Also please understand that if an Officer asks you to speak with
them in game, it is in NO way a guarantee that you have been
accepted into the guild, it is simply a way for us to clarify
questions that we may have.
Again Retribution provides food, flasks, enchants and free gems to
the raiders in our guild.

History
Retribution was formed on Mal'Ganis when World of Warcraft
launched. Due to long queue times, the guild left Mal'Ganis for
Drak'thul when a server transfer was opened. Retribution continued
to successfully raid on Drak'thul after the transfer until
Drak'thul was marked to be converted from a PvP realm to a PvE
realm in 2010. Dalvengyr was chosen to become Retribution's new
home and the guild has continued to successfully raid on the
server.
