We Meet Again is a guild with an ~20 man roster. Our primary goals
are to progress through Heroic and into Mythic. While we don't use
it as the end goal, we do our best to maintain a top 100 ranking on
the Server as a good benchmark.
Our main recruitment goal at the moment is to build up a "reserve"
team of ~10-15 players that we can have in the event of no
attendance. Because let's face it, Pugging is very hit or miss.
With that in mind, this new team will run at the same time as the
Main team, and if needed we will pull in the classes that most
closely fit the class that was unable to attend. What we DON'T want
is for people to be stuck in this group however, and each week we
will try and swap ~2 people from the teams so that they can work on
something that was giving them trouble. While we fill this raid
team it will be unlikely that any tanks or healers will be brought
into the Heroic Progression in BRF unless you have a DPS oSpec.
As for loot we use EPGP and a simplified loot council for select
pieces. EPGP is similar to DKP, You get EP "Effort Points" for
attending raid and killing bosses etc etc and gain GP "Gear Points"
for being rewarded gear. EP/GP decides who gets the loot they
rolled on where the larger number wins. The loot council is only
for Mythic WF items and Tier Items (2p and 4p completion trump all
others though and goes to EPGP between those that will complete it
2p<4p in these cases).
Gaining entry to our raid groups is simple:
* Make our raid times: T/W/TH 10:30 PM - 1 AM EST.
* Know your class, the mechanics of the encounter, and work to push
yourself in both.
* Maintain a positive attitude, this usually means no complaining
("ughhh...you didn't clear the moss right and let your flamethrower
overhead" vs "Hey, If you stop the flamethrower before it overheats
you'll be able to clear more moss." type thing)
