Rising Sun is Twisting Nethers oldest and most successful guild,
with roots going all the way back into The Burning Crusade while
have a fantastic community.
Rising Sun are recruiting the following classes listed below, be
aware that we will consider your application even if a class is
full as long as you're extremely well geared , have the right
attitude, dedicated and vast experience. We do have a social rank,
for real life friends and/or relatives of Rising Sun raiders also
our ex-raiders. If you are thinking about applying to Rising Sun,
please make sure you put effort into your application as it in most
cases reflects you as a player.
Currently we looking for everything for WoD
We don't have any formal requirements but we do have a few things
that we expect/want our guild mates and potential guild mates to
posses. They are just simple values and/or rules that we expect to
be followed while being a member of this guild, nothing mind
blowing, nothing you haven't seen before but this is what we stand
for and its also what you must stand for if you want to join
us.
FUN FACTOR: We are a guild that has a strong belief in the
rule that raiding is 10 times better if people are having fun while
doing it and that is what you'll find in this guild. We have a
pretty sarcastic way about us sometimes and with many members being
British that's hardly surprising but it is one thing you'll have to
handle and hopeful enjoy when in this guild. Although this sounds a
little stupid we just want to have fun and although we AREN'T 100%
serious all the time, when we need to, everyone focus's on the task
at hand. If a harsh sense of humour isn't something you can handle
or cope with then we may NOT be the right guild for you.
COMMITMENT: Towards the guild, guild members and anything
else related to the guild. This includes being committed to guild
events, farming consumables for raids, reading up on progress boss
encounters and most importantly having respect for other guild
members.
SKILL & KNOWLEDGE: You need to know what is best for
your class and being able to perform to your best ability. WoW
isn't rocket science, but there are still many people that cant
perform at a high level when needing to perform simple tasks and
this is what makes raiding frustrating for other members. People
aren't always going to do everything correctly and that is
understandable but we expect people to learn from their own and
others mistakes. You need to strive be one of the "better" players
out there and to be someone who enjoys playing the game well.
PATIENCE: Things won't always be perfect, we need people who
are going to stick with the guild through the good times and the
bad. Patience includes wiping, includes guild down-time, includes
you being ok with sitting out if your class isn't optimal for the
current progress boss.
ACTIVITY: This includes being online inside and outside raid
times, regular activity on the forums and just getting involved
with the community in general. Raiders need to uphold atleast 80%
raid attendance and while on trial if your attendance is any lower
than 90% without good reason, then chances are you will fail.
