Binary Solo on US-Tanaris is a hybrid casual/softcore raiding guild
that has been around since the days of Ulduar and plans to continue
into the future.
We are currently raiding BRF, progressing through difficulties as
exposure to the bosses and mechanics is obtained. Our current raid
schedule is as follows:
Tu, Th, Mo: 8:30p-11:30p Eastern
On Monday we usually open the core raid group up to a wider
audience to get more people in-guild involved.
Our intent is to gain progressively through the raids. We're not
looking to compete for region first kills but aim to do our best in
killing the bosses sooner rather than later. We are in need of the
following, especially as we intend to get into mythic raiding
entirely in-guild:
- An extra tank or two (regular attendance is necessary) that
preferably have a solid OS so they can stay in the mix.
- A few healers (again, as above - OS not necessary but would be
nice to have).
- Some players with solid DPS - preferably ranged but melee is fine
to a degree - "bring the player, not the class".
Ideally we'd want to be in a position of needing to rotate players
rather than pug spots.
Beyond our raiding needs, we're open to players looking to join us
whose interests lie elsewhere in the game, the more the
merrier.
Interested raiding players should:
- Have good raid awareness
- Have Ventrilo (mic not required but they must be able to hear the
chat and if they can't talk they need to be uber-quick on sending
out RWs)
- Have downed some bosses in Siege or Highmaul in something other
than LFR
- Be available to make at least 95% of the raids. Consistency is
the key to developing a solid raid chemistry. RL will get in the
way from time to time but we hope to keep it to a minimum.
