RIGHT! Summer's here, although it took us some time to acknowledge
her.
Feel free to apply for a raiding spot in WoD though. Hugzies.
This is an overview of the frequently asked questions that usually
raise up about the guild.
If you have any more questions or something is unclear to you,
please contact any Officer that is online or feel free to ask any
of our members if you believe they could help.
Are you a 10 or 25 man raiding guild?
We are a 10-man raiding guild.
What language do you use to communicate?
We are an international guild and even though we are flooded by
Danish people (not to mention Hungarians), we speak English in the
guild.
How often do we raid?
We raid 2 times a week, from 20.00 till 23.00 game time (invites at
19.30). (Wed-Sun) Extra raid day may be added for Monday if the
circumstances demand/allow it.
How often am i supposed to attend to raids each week?
We're expecting everyone that applies to be available for every
raid. Of course, exceptions can be made... we understand if one
week, you can't attend as much as you'd wish to due to IRL
obligations.
How long is the trial period?
This depends on activity and availability. Assuming you sign up for
each raid, a trial period lies anywhere between 2 and 3 weeks.
However, your trial period could last longer.
Are there any gear requirements to join the guild?
We expect you to have put effort (and gold) in your character to
get your gear sorted out with enchants and have the correct glyphs
and such.
Are there any requirements concerning specs?
Not really, except that if you apply, you apply for a specific role
and you're expected to keep that role. As for the actual specs, all
we expect there is that you know how to play with it and what's
best for you. A discipline priest that doesn't know that his
bubblez are important for him, is a big nono!
Am i required to prepare for raids?
Yes yes and yes. Consumable-wise, we expect you to bring the best
flasks or elixir combo that you can get for different fights and by
a large enough quantity to last a 3 hour raid.
We usually use Fish feasts during raids, so you won't need to farm
too much food, though you are still required to have some food with
you in case you missed out on a feast.
We also expect you to know the bossfights of farm bosses and have
watched vid's and read tactics of bosses we are or will be
attempting anytime soon.
How does loot get distributed on raids?
We use an EQ-DKP system, that awards players for their activity as
much as possible. The more you raid and sign up for raids, the more
DKP you will get and the bigger the chances are that you will get
new loot!
We use a closed/private bidding system, where you have to whisper
the Loot Master with your bid and the highest bidder wins the item
for the amount of DKP the second person bidden + 10.
What communication program does Prophecy use?
Currently, we are using Mumble.
Am i allowed to have alts in the guild?
Yes, we are a social guild as well after all. There is no real
limit on amount of alts, but we expect you to play on them and not
just drop them in the guild.
Can i raid on my alts?
Not on official raids, unless required. Some people set up alt runs
/flex raids for some stuff usually though, so you can find your
comfort in there.
