Our main aim as a guild is to experience end game raid content but
still give our members time to enjoy other commitments outside the
game.
We raid 3 nights a week and require focus, good class knowledge and
a mature attitude from our raiders.
Community is also important to us and applicants are evaluated on
how well they fit with the team as well as their raid performance.
We like being able to raid and have fun with friends at the same
time. Our raiders are all above 20 yrs old and we like you to be as
well.
We're back raiding in WoD after a break towards the end of MoP and
are looking for a few more healers and DPS to establish our mythic
raiding team. You should have at least 6/7 heroic Highmaul
experience and be able to attend at least 2 of 3 raids per week on
average.
Applicants should:
- Be over 20 years old
- Play their class well and keep up with the latest changes
- Be able to use Teamspeak3 (and have a mic too!)
- Have a sense of humour ;-)
Raiding with Dianthus
Loot is awarded with a bit of luck and some common sense. Mainspec
upgrades have priority over offspec upgrades and raiders have
priority over our trialists. Beyond that, loot is rolled for. It's
not uncommon for people to pass on upgrades if they would be a
larger upgrade for someone else (eg for tier bonuses)
Raiders need to bring their own flasks and potions. Feasts are
provided by the guild. As a raider you are expected to maintain an
average of 2/3 raids per week.
Due to the nature of the guild, our roster has more than 20 players
to keep raids going when one or two people can't make it. This has
the knock on consequence that we do bench players on occasions. We
try to make this as fair as possible whilst giving the group the
best chance of success.
Applications and Trials
The length of a trial varies. Promotion happens once we're happy
you can pull your own weight, learn quickly from your mistakes and
fit in with the rest of the team. This of course goes both ways; a
trial is as much for your benefit as it is for ours.
