Our goals:
The Pistols have been around since Cataclysm. It began as a group
of friends looking to raid in an environment that is serious inside
raids, whilst still having fun both inside and outside of them.
Though the guild has changed greatly, both in terms of its officers
and its ambition over the course of the expansions, that core goal
remains the same- to clear the current tier of content whilst still
enjoying ourselves.
We're not a hardcore guild, and we won't be getting realm first,
but we can promise that as long as all applicants play their
hardest, we will clear with a full suite of Ahead of the Curve and
Cutting Edges.
The teams:
The Pistols typically runs two teams. Main Team, being the more
competitive of the two, will look to clear current content far more
aggressively than team 2. Therefore the prerequisites and general
expectancies for this team are higher. Team 2 functions to gear
alts and mains of those looking for a more relaxed and stress-free
raid environment. Applications to both teams is not only possible,
but recommended. Starting off in team 2 means team 1 is only a
solid performance away.
What we need:
We are always recruiting applicants of any class and spec. Fresh
blood and a fresh perspective never hurts, and we're always looking
to expand our raiding rosters for our first and second raid teams.
As stated above, requirements for the two teams vary considerably.
It is therefore best to contact an officer to discuss options.
Main Raid Times:
Wednesday 19:45-22:00
Thursday 19:45-22:00
Sunday 19:00-22:00
The above are all in game time, and subject to change; we
occasionally start/end with half an hour of difference. We also
often run extra raids if there's anything we need to clear up, or
if we feel like gearing up alts, doing CMs or running old
content.
Second Team Raid Times:
Days vary. Times similar to Main Team.
