About Omnipotent
Omnipotent was formed by like-minded individuals, all of whom share
one common interest: cutting edge end-game progression. We thrive
to be one of the better guilds in the US on a shorter and less
demanding raid schedule than other guilds in the US. To do this,
massive preparation is involved to down encounters in shorter times
than most guilds. To some degree, this gives us a sense of
clairvoyance, which is the background of the guild name.
Guild Structure
The guild leadership is formed of a council which includes the GM
and various leads and council positions. We expect this structure
to add stability among the core and leadership of the guild. If the
guild needs to adapt to certain needs that will enhance progression
then leadership will do so in order to maintain our standards and
goals.
Guild Details
The guild leadership is formed of a council which includes the GM,
Raid Lead and Role Leads. Guild voice communications program we use
is Mumble. Loot distribution is decided by a loot council that
consists of all of the officers. We award loot in a manner that
benefits our guild's progression above all else.
Our trial process consists of an evaluation of your raiding
experience, logs, and gear, followed by a short Mumble interview,
and finally a trial period that will last approximately five raid
weeks. We also do not pay for recruit transfers.
Raid Schedule
Omnipotent raids 3-days (12 hours) a week during progression. We
are one of the few that are honest and upfront about our schedule.
Most "3-day/week" guilds raid 4+ days during progression and we
find that misleading. We still intend to be a premier guild on a
shorter schedule than other guilds during the progression push.
Tuesday: 7:00pm CST - 11:00pm CST
Wednesday: 7:00pm CST - 11:00pm CST
Thursday: 7:00pm CST - 11:00pm CST
Due to holidays and other occurrences that might force us to
postpone a raid during progression, we use Monday as a makeup day
if needed.
What Omnipotent can offer you
Stability. The core WoW raiding roster has been
progressing through end-game content since early Mists of Pandaria.
The core leadership has led cutting edge, top raiding guilds in
multiple games for the past 7 years and we have no plans on slowing
down.
Results. No matter how illustrious a guild’s past has
been, the present and future is all that matters to individuals,
and rightfully so. Omnipotent will always be one of the premier
guilds in the US on a shorter and more honest schedule than most.
That requires current results in current content.
Environment. One of the hardest things about
recruitment from both sides of the fence is finding 20-24 other
people you sincerely enjoy and have fun playing with. You may find
Omnipotent to be one of those guilds where everyone enjoys
everyone. Many of us enjoy doing alt raids, GDKP, challenge modes
and playing other video games outside of raid time with each other
and just generally enjoy each other's company. The guild is mainly
comprised of mature individuals whom are good at taking care of
business during progression and enjoy having fun in the
process.
Schedule. You will have a hard time finding many
guilds with as much success as Omnipotent on a conservative raid
schedule. Most of us are adults with distinguished careers who also
make a distinguished WoW career out of clearing end-game
content.
Respect. As previously mentioned, this guild is
managed, led and comprised of mature individuals. Tensions will
always flare during progression content, but this guild will always
handle things in a respectful manner. We want to kill bosses above
all, but there is plenty of room to give and take when it comes to
respect. With that said wearing the Omnipotent tag should demand
some respect, and while wearing it that individual is responsible
for upholding the virtues of the guild.
What Omnipotent expects from you
Commitment. With a conservative raid schedule, we
really expect our raiders to have 99%+ attendance. That doesn't
mean we aren't understanding but we have certain expectations to
uphold and achieve and we can’t do that with raiders who aren't
able to commit themselves.
Performance. If I were to ask one of Omnipotent’s
raiders to create an in depth guide for their class/spec during the
current tier the knowledge from that guide should be sufficient
enough to submit to a informational site such as Icy Veins.
Obviously, knowledge isn't everything if the raider does not
execute it properly. Raiders must be able to counter and succeed in
situations they don’t normally find themselves in. Internet &
computer are also just as important as knowledge and execution.
People are in control of these components more than they would lead
themselves to believe. Knowledge, Execution, PC/Internet.
Preparation. During progression, raiders are expected
to have their bonus roll currency ready each week. Omnipotent is
also looking for raiders who prepare themselves with what’s to
come. After all, the guild’s name is based upon having the
knowledge and clairvoyance of scripted boss encounters. We intend
to tackle content in such a manner. The guild will attempt to
participate in PTR testing for each tier of progression. This might
be hard to do as most of the time it's during the day, so we expect
raiders to do their own research, and prepare themselves for what
they need to do in order to succeed.
Relax. This could easily go under preparation, as we
need clear and energized minds for progression. Progression raiding
can become very stressful and demanding. So, on our days off, take
a break from the game, relax, enjoy life, enjoy family and friends
or whatever it takes for you as an individual to relax during your
down time.
Flexibility. In order to be a premier low hour
raiding guild, we need raiders to be prepared, willing, and capable
of main switching to an alt of the same role if composition or if
the meta-game for that tier so requires.
