Xcellence is a semi hardcore PvE guild that raids 3 days a week
(Wednesday / Thursday / Sunday, all 19:45-23:00 server time).
We also have an alt/social team running on Monday (same time).
FOR SOCIALS
Our members are friendly and somewhat mischievous from time to
time. Our teamspeak is wild and crazy during events, but when we're
facing the boss silence falls upon the lands as people focus up and
put on their serious face. We have a a lot of social players and
the guild chat is almost always active. We would be happy to have
more people joining us since we're still a young guild. Just
remember that the chat is for a little mature people, but basic
chat rules do apply ofc.
FOR RAIDERS
Our loot system is set so that when an item drops, everyone rolls
for it as usual, highest roller wins. But from there, the person
who got the piece of loot, looses priority for upcoming loot rolls.
So if an other item drops, and you and someone else rolls on it and
you win again, the other person receives it since you've lost
priority. Now they will loose priority as well until next reset. We
also do take into consideration (on HC especially) if the item that
dropped is BiS (Best in slot) for someone, and if they didn't win
the roll, they might still get the loot piece.
After a wipe we try to discuss what went wrong and what we can
improve, but we often keep it short and so that we may pull again.
Giving us more attempts at the bosses rather than spending
30minutes theory crafting in the middle of the raid. If needed we
will however discuss tactics thoroughly, although it doesn't not
happen very often since we do rely on people taking their time to
read up on tactics before entering the raid. Keep in mind we do go
over the tactics and what will happen before we make the first
pull, so that everyone knows exactly what they're supposed to be
doing.
When a wipe occurs, we do not tolerate people leaving the group and
whining about small matters, if you leave the group after a wipe
you will be removed from the team. We are open for suggestions
throughout the raid and may change our tactics a little bit. So do
not be afraid of opening your mouth. Although keep in mind that
there's a difference between coming with suggestions and just
wanting to get heard.
RECRUITMENT
We are now looking to start off strong on Black Rock Foundry, but
due to the lack of players able to fill out the ranks after
removals from the core raiding team we might not be able to start
with a 20man group directly.
We are always looking for new players to join our core team and
