About us:
CBC was founded in 2007, and has been a solid raiding crew since
then. Drama-free, we are "seriously casual". That is to say, we
raid two nights a week, sometimes three. Heroic and scenario
groups, mog raids, achievement runs, and casual players also make
up the heart and soul of CBC.
When we say "seriously casual", we mean, when it's raid time, we're
serious. Everyone arrives on time, everyone is prepared. Repairs
and flasks are offered, and you should arrive with any other
consumeables appropriate to your class and role. You are not
expected to be the best in the world, but individual progression in
your role is encouraged and expected. You're not alone in growing
your skills, you have an entire guild full of casual to retired
hardcore raiders to help you. We can teach you how to dance, but we
can't teach you how to listen and follow directions! (Or to
appreciate puns.)
Raiding Info:
We used to be a 25-man guild, and persevered as a 25-man guild
through Cataclysm and Mists. With the new flex-mode for Normal and
Heroic mode, we maintain two rosters: A Main roster of 18 people
for when we do Mythic raids, and a Sub roster of variable size that
we bring when we do Normal and Heroic raids. We rotate people from
the Sub roster into Mythic raids depending on need and
circumstance.
We understand REAL LIFE comes first (this is why we say casual),
and while we'll understand emergencies on your part, please
understand sometimes Friday clean-up raids get cancelled. Life
happens. Just keep in touch with us on the Forums, or drop a
message on the forums or any officer in game - let us know what's
going on!
Our Raid times are Tuesday and Wednesday, 6-9 PM server, with
clean-up raids on Friday 6-9 pm server, work-schedules permitting.
Raids end promptly at 9!
Want to join us?
We are looking for good people in general, not just good players,
however, we would like to fill out our sub roster with more
DPS.
If you're a skilled player with a great sense of humor, you are
encouraged to apply anyway.
