<Carpe Noctem> is a horde based guild on Lightbringer
(EU). It was founded in 2005 and we raided successfully during The
Burning Crusade expansion, The Wrath of The Lich King expansion and
the start of Cataclysm. At that time we were amongst the top guilds
on the server and in Europe, before real life caught up with the
core of the guild and we decided to become more casual and skipping
an entire expansion in the process. But now we are back!
The important thing to consider for all potential recruits - we
will be having less frequent raid nights, as all of us are now
unable and unwilling to commit the same amount of time we used to.
That means no server firsts this time around and we are fine with
it. However, our raiding will be as efficient as possible and
bosses will go down, loot will be acquired etc. As mostly
ex-hardcore players, we do not like leaving things half-cooked, so
our intention is still to be killing bosses in an organized manner.
All potential recruits must be on the same wave length. That said,
our current raid times are Thu/Sun/Tue from 7:30 to 10:30
ST and we try to stick to them as much as possible.
What we expect from you:
- Competent knowledge of your class, rotation, gear and spec. Being
able to perform equally good in another spec is a great bonus.
- 655 ilvl or close to it, we are moving past the point of doing
normals to gear people up, so your gear should be at least viable
for heroic content
- Be able to attend a reasonable number of our raids - at least
50%. We are trying to keep a more lenient approach, but some level
of accountability is still required.
- Be as prepared for the raids as your game time allows you to be,
that means gems and enchants of the fancier variety, as well as
flasks, potions and your own personal foodbuffs(until 6.1 we have
stacks on stacks of savage feasts to cover for our hunger).
- Be mature, respectful, with a healthy sense of humor, here for
the ride itself and not for what awaits at the end of it. We really
don't care for drama, elitism and infighting. We don't mind fresh
players, but only if they fit these criteria. Attitude towards the
game and your fellow players comes first with us.
- Communicate properly in English, as we are an English speaking
guild

With the addition of the flexible raid formats, we will not be
aiming to keep a strict number of players on the roster. We are
expanding continuously and this means that you can apply even if
you are one of the classes and specs not listed above. Do not
hesitate to post an application if your class is not listed, as we
are always interested in good applicants, who are having the same
goals as us. Alternatively, you can also whisper Carpejugulum,
Befsztyks, Malduin, Nenaunir, Starspawn or Minderiel in-game.
