Who are Transcend
It’s pretty apparent that the release of Warlord’s of Draenor has
only been a positive one. As the definition suggests, Transcend has
been created with one goal. We do not want to be average. We want
to be known, we want to provide quality of quantity. We want to
exceed expectations and we want to maintain a quality roster in
line with this goal.
While we do maintain a casual mentality, we do intend to go above
and beyond. We expect all Members to have an extensive knowledge of
their Class & spec. We do not expect you to know everything and
anything the game has to offer, particularly alts, other Classes,
etc.
In the first week of forming, we got 7/7 normal & 7/7 Heroic
without a full Roster. Most Guilds who put themselves in the same
class as us, cannot down bosses consistently week-in-week-out.
For the sake of clarification this Guild consists of all different
kinds of people. Some of us have full-time jobs. Some of us are
full-time students. Some are ex-hardcore Raiders. Some have come
from World top Guilds and don’t have the time to commit to Raiding,
Raid Leading or stressing at the absolute highest levels of World
of Warcraft.
Why should we pick you
Remember, your application is our first and primary impression of
you. We will take you on no matter what class, spec, experience or
person you are if you can prove to us you are a quality addition to
our Raid. You will get loot, you will get experience, you will kill
bosses. We will bring you to a Raid and even if our GM has a 100%
attendance he will get benched if you prove, consistently, you are
of benefit to our Raiding team. Spend more than 5 minutes writing
your application because we will be spending significantly more
time than that ensuring you are getting a chance to Raid in the
highest quality Raid environment.
We won’t lie to you. We are very transparent with how we approach
Raiding. Tactics are discussed extensively internally and we
approach each and every boss as best we can. The best players will
be rewarded handsomely.
Is Transcend for you?
At the end of the day we want to down bosses; we want to kill them
when they are current. We are on the most-populated Server on WoW.
We are not afraid of a challenge. We have come to this Server to
leave a marker. If you want to Raid in a quality environment we
suggest you apply to Transcend. If you want to be a part of a
top-tier Guild, without committing 12 hours a day, then we suggest
you apply here. If you want loot because you’re killing bosses
faster than 90% of the WoW population, we suggest you apply here.
If you want to be a part of a team that does not take no for an
answer and want nothing but success, on a manageable timetable, we
suggest you apply to Transcend.
Loot Rules
We use a Loot Council. It’s undoubtedly the fairest way to approach
loot in the game. It ensures the best players are getting justified
rewards. An EP/GP or DKP system simply would not work. We
understand people have commitments. We understand people sometimes
come late. That is why this Guild has been created. We are honest
in everything we do. If you’re present on a boss kill and you have
contributed to the death of that boss, you are entitled to loot as
much as anyone else. If you don’t know what a Loot Council loot
system is this probably isn’t the Guild for you.
Our Loot Council works in the following way. At this point if you
care about loot you should go elsewhere. We gear up our Raid. We do
NOT gear up individuals. Every piece of loot distributed is done so
in looking to the future. The turnover in the Guild is not high. We
expect every member of the Raid to receive loot and work their
socks off for every piece of gear. We guarantee, in return, you
will get loot. While we are not free-for-all we are also not
autocratic. While a decision may not be apparently clear to you
immediately it must be viewed in the eyes of the benefit to the
Raid.
