Light Brigade is a casual guild with a more hardcore,
progression-based raid group which raids
Fridays 9pm - 12am ST (Central US Time)
and a continuation raid group which raids:
Saturdays or Sundays 9pm - 12am (if needed).
We're in need of a few classes to solidify our core group for
progression-based PvE as we go into WoD
...but at it's core, we are looking for players that are
enjoyable people to raid with.
Expectations for All Members
1. Treat Guildmates with respect.
2. Play for Light Brigade, not just yourself.
3. Positively represent Light Brigade.
4. Don't be a ***.
5. Don't be a troll.
Expectations for Core Raid Members
In general, you must be able to take care of yourself and learn for
yourself. Our coaching is a more hands-off approach.
Specifically, you must:
Prepare:
Maximize your gear through enchants, gems, etc. We have a
formidable guild bank and can give out enchants and gems, but you
shouldn't rely on it.
Learn the mechanics of an upcoming fight; just watching and
understanding a video is enough.
Will your computer be reliable? Your internet connection? One
disconnected player does a lot of damage to a raid.
Practice:
Use outside resources to learn the mechanics of your class.
Use Raid Finder and Dungeon Finder so that during a new fight, your
class mechanics come naturally and you need only think of the
mechanics and action of each unique encounter.
Be On Time:
Log on 15 minutes prior to raid time.
Have ventrilo, addons, and consumables ready by raid time.
Is your computer and internet connection stable by now?
Communicate:
If personal issues arise so that you are unable to be on time or
attend a raid, communicate with your raid leaders.
If you are having issues with the mechanics of a fight or your
class, tell us before we have to call you out.
Should they be necessary, take commands and criticisms like an
adult, without making excuses: be honest and fess up your
mistakes.
Execute:
Perform your duties and fulfill your role in the raid, maximizing
your performance without tunneling.
We won't execute you if you make a mistake, but you should at least
be aware of your mistake and its repercussions. In general, 9 times
out of 10 isn't good enough.
What to expect from US:
Guild repairs with limits based on rank.
A formidable guild bank with consumables and materials.
An atmosphere consisting mature, pleasant people and players.
Our loot system is mostly just "/roll" but is more of a "/roll BUT,
if it is better for the Guild or more fair for this player to get
it then..."
We may be the perfect guild for you to get back into the game with
the launch of Warlords of Draenor.
