About Us:
Ether is a newly reformed guild on Kil'jaeden with roots dating
back to WoTLK. Our core transferred together from Tichondrius and
are looking to establish a name for ourselves here on KJ. We have
always strived to maintain a fun environment to progress in, while
ensuring that progress is being made. If you can memorize where to
stand for Sindragosa, and you don't mind getting bitten 3rd or 4th,

_____What We Look For_____
Quality Players and You: We have many quality players and
would expect the same from you. You are expected to understand your
class and your role, this guild does not turn away when asked for
help but when you are given constructive criticism, we do expect
you to reevaluate your situation and try your best to fix it
instead of making excuses.
A Different Raiding Environment: We are casual scheduled
with a hardcore mentality raiding guild. Unlike other progression
guilds that usually have a form of screaming, yelling, belittling
raiders and a requirement to have thick-skin to tolerate the abuse
and criticism. We at Ether approach a much more calmer positive
attitude where constructive criticism is greatly appreciated. As a
guild we are also committed to giving our raiders the best
opportunities to succeed in the game.
Equal Rights and Leadership: Every guild member's input
weighs just as much as the guild master's and officers own. The
leadership goal is to have a very strong presence in the raiding
environment but also keeping leading as an equal and not as a
superior. The overall officer core is to ensure that the guild is
running in an efficient and beneficial manner.
Loot: Loot is handled via Loot Council, the loot is
distributed based on performance and the greatest benefit to the
raid.
_____The Perfect Applicant_____
Attendance: We ask for at least 90% attendance, less than
perfect attendance is frowned upon. However we do understand there
are real life priorities and encourage it. In these cases we expect
trials to core raiders to notify an officer of absence or post on
forums prior to raid. If you are going on vacation, we also ask you
do not apply until you are finished with enjoying your
vacation.
Gear and Coming Prepared: Applicants must have relevant gear
to be accepted; we are a progressing guild and have no time for
projects. Coming with a healthy amount of class consumables is
mandatory (flask/potions) and having a general knowledge of core
abilities and mechanics of the boss we're progressing on is key.
Having full BiS enchanted gear with proper gems is a must, there is
absolutely no reason why it shouldn't all be done by now. Coming
unprepared as a trial will quickly raise a lot of questions that
will not weigh in your favor.
_____Your Trial and How It's Done_____
Trial Period: A Trial will generally last two weeks in time
and will be evaluated by majority of the officers on your
performance, attitude, personality toward raiding and the guild
itself, and preparation. While you might see some bench time, it is
needed that you understand that sometimes stacking an X amount of a
specific class is a bad idea (some cases a good idea), but we will
always try our best to slide you in without hindering our roster
and progression needs.
We Are Always Recruiting: New members can expect all trials
and veterans to be closely monitored for under-performance, so we
do not settle for being mediocre. People who enjoy theory crafting
and have knowledge of all aspects of their class are the types of
members we are looking for.
Multiple Alt Runs: We do many alt runs of current and former
content as well as LFR raiding. We love playing our alts and we
would love to have more members join us to make our alt runs more
stable and consistent. This guild is highly social and you will see
a very healthy amount of players and interaction within the guild
from Raiders to Friends and Family.
