<Vigil> is a high-end raiding guild, which formed as a result
of a guild merger between Death and Taxes and Aurora on June 13th,
2009.

We are currently primarily looking for the following (as of

However, if you feel you are amazing at your class and what you do,
regardless of our current needs, we'd love to hear from you. All
exceptional players are encouraged to apply regardless of current
need.
Many of our members have raided with each other for a long time,
which promotes a tight-knit atmosphere within our raids. We take
pride in our ability to consistently compete among the best in the
world and thus we expect greatness out of each other. We ask a lot
of our members. No less should you ask of us. For individuals with
the drive to go above and beyond the call wearing the Vigil tag is
a privilege as much as it is a responsibility.
We currently seek to house a roster of 25-ish raiders. This means
that we do not recruit for full time bench positions. If you are
accepted for Trial, you will see raid time. For raid encounters
that are especially demanding on compositions, our members maintain
geared alts that are raid capable. We handle loot distribution by
/randoming (with officer discretion), we have zero loot drama as
our members understand purples are just a means, not an end. We
typically raid from 7:30 to 12:30 EST Sunday-Thursday.
Typically after raids we will usually hang around to chat on TS,
play other games, and reminisce about the good ol' days. Many of
our members are more than just raiders - we currently possess
several Gladiator level players. Others lead alt runs open to the
Mal'Ganis community or are active achievement hunters.
We're looking for players who are experienced, dedicated, creative
and intelligent. You should be the best player in your current
guild if you're going to put up an application. Being able to
challenge our current raiders in terms of playing ability is a
must. Being able to participate in our strategy discussions is a
must. You must be able to take criticism constructively. If you
were kicked out of your last guild, chances are you aren't going to
be qualified to join Vigil. We are not a casual club, we're looking
for players who are in it for the long haul and willing to put the
guild above personal interests. We're interested in recruiting the
best North America has to offer.
